SIB System Information Block
SIBs are key information units broadcasts from the gNB to UEs over the air. They provide essential system-level information for network access and operation. Helps the UE learn about the network configuration, cell selection parameters, random access configurations, scheduling and more.
There are periodic SIBs and On-Request SIBs.
