Millimetre-Wave

Millimetre-Wave mmWave

Millimetre-Wave refers to radio frequencies in the tens-of-GHz range (~24GHz and higher). In cellular networks, mmWave enables very high data rates because it offers large available bandwidth, but also suffers from higher path loss and is more sensitive to blockage, so coverage is typically shorter and Beam Forming is widely used.
