CFRA Contention Free Random Access
CFRA Preamble. Unlike the random access preambles used in Contention-based Random-access (Where multiple UE's may select the same preamble), CFRA preambles re dedicated to specific UEs for contention-free access, most commonly used in scenarios like Handover, Beam Failure Recovery and sometimes special access services.
